WE’RE CELEBRATING AS LONDON’S STUART HAYES IS SELECTED FOR TEAM GB.

Here at Vines Group, we’re celebrating with local triathlete Stuart Hayes as the British Olympic Association have announced that he’s on his way to the London 2012 Games.

London-based Stuart has been running competitively since he was 15, and has been training hard to be a part of the London 2012 Games. Now aged 33, Stuart’s determination and hard work seems to have paid off as he was announced as part of Team GB, where he will compete in the men’s triathlon.

BMW is the Official Automotive Partner of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and we’re proud to have been supporting Stuart on his journey to the Games.

The participants of Team GB are selected by the British Olympic Association in conjunction with the national governing bodies of the 26 sports that the team will compete in. At London 2012, Team GB will be the largest single sporting team to represent the country in over 100 years, with over 500 athletes and 1000 support staff making up the team.

Stuart has had to train hard to get to this point, but now the real work begins and we will continue to support him all the way to the 2012 Games.

“I am absolutely delighted to have been picked for Team GB”, said Stuart “It’s great to have got this far, but now I’ve got to work even harder to make sure I do the best I can for myself and to make the country proud. Vines Group have been really supportive, and it’s great to know they’re behind me.”
